Clean Gasification Through CFBC Gasifier Route

Circulating Fluidized Bed Gasifiers are third generation gasifiers in the house of CASE Group. In this technology, coal fines of 0mm-10mm size can be used for gasification.

To mention, the entire gasification is based on ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE (ZLD). In this case, the volatiles present in the coal are cracked or combusted completely within the gasifier, thus leaving no chance of any Tar or Phenols in the Gas Stream and making it an absolutely clean gasification process.

The CFBC Gasifiers have fluidized bed where coal fines, steam and air are pumped from the bottom to the top. The gas comes out from the top which needs to be filtered and can be compressed to any pressure depending on the user requirements. In this technology, there is no generation of Tar or Phenols.

Entrained Flow Gasification Technology by CASE

The much-awaited gasification technology is finally in your town. Yes, CASE has introduced "ENTRAINED FLOW GASIFIER", the most advanced technology available in coal gasification market, today. These coal gasifiers are designed to gasify low grade Indian Coals readily available in abundance at extremely cheap rates thus making the project dynamics much viable and cost effective for the end user.

Coal fines are converted to coal gas having high calorific values >2400kcal/nm3 with negligible nitrogen thus reducing the NOx levels. Coal gas is the cheapest form of reliable energy which can be utilized for any thermal application within the Industrial process. With coal gas industries are able to substitute the use of high costs industrial fuels like HFO, LDO, LNG, Propane, Diesel, Natural Gas etc.

Contact CASE Group to explore the possibility of using Coal Gas for your industrial use.

Coal Gasification Technology Popular Today

The word ‘gasification’ is not new to us. But, did you know about CFBC Gasification? Circulating Fluidized Bed Coal (CFBC) Gasification Technology is currently rated as the most economical, Eco-friendly, operational ease and latest technology in coal gasification.

In CFBC Gasification technology, coal fines can be used to gasifying with the help of gasifying agent. To know the CFBC gasification process, one may contact our gasifier team.

Why should you choose CFBC Gasification over other gasifier technology?

CFBC gasification successfully substitutes the use of high cost fuels such as heating oil, LDO, HFO, natural gas, propane etc. These fuels which are used for the thermal application of the process are substituted by Coal gas/ Producer gas generated through coal gasification technology.
These gasifiers come in capacities of 20,000-60,000 Nm3/Hr in single modules.

Tunnel Kiln Technology for Sponge Iron Company

DRI Tunnel Kiln was commissioned on 24 November 2011. CASE gave this technology to India and this was also first of its kind in India. The process has been established now after earlier hiccups. The process of Tunnel Kiln uses fines of Iron ore and Coal which are mixed together in specified proportions to eventually make DRI having quality grades of 90% plus metallization.

Iron Ore Fines and Coal Fines mixed together are loaded into SiC (Silicon Carbide) beakers which are then loaded onto the cars. The cars are made to pass through the Tunnel kiln. The material goes through a series of Chemical Changes owing to the temperature and pressures of the kiln. The oxides of iron are reduced to iron as per the above reactions.
