Benefits of Hot Gas Station/Tar Free Gasifier

The Coal Gasifier transports producer gas in and around 250 degree c for combustion. However, the volatile material (tar) is separated from the producer gas and collected externally.

In case of Hot gas station, the producer gas is transported at an elevated temperature of 500 degree c. At this temperature the volatile material (tar) is in gaseous state. Therefore, we have an additional energy amounting to 8000 kilo calories per normal metric cube. In hot gas station, the volatile material which is basically a pollutant is converted into useful energy for combustion.

Hence the hot gas station is beneficial for two reasons:

• It converts volatile material into gas to supplement producer gas with more energy

• The volatile material which is a pollutant is not separated but put into use.
